I have several printers (HP2600n, HP 1022n) with his own network card, its assigned IP?s from DHCP static on the server (server w2003 SP2).
After a while (even after various days without problem), a lot of workstations (XP pro) can?t print on any of them without restarting the spooler on the pc.
Anyone has/had a similar problem and what tips can give me to check on my Domain.
I don?t think its a problem on the pc?s, so i can assume is on the network, why? pings to the printers works fine (1 ms or less) but in some instant the ping not respond nothing for about 1-2 traces and shows 1 ms or less again.
also We had DNS problems that the area reported resolved but the problem continues.
Any idea will be appreciated
By the way….the computers dont use a printserver, prints directly to printers with integrated nic and his own ip static proportionated by the dhcp server……..thanks for the replies…..
