Don’t pay the price of e-mail insincerit

It only takes a minute or so to review what you have written. In the name of doing more faster, we tend to get very sloppy with email. Step back and read your email as a recipient would. Think about how you have phrased your wishes, criticism, or praise. What is the goal of your email? Have you created more questions than answers? Was that your intention? Sloppy email comes across as insincere. It says, “I don’t have time for this, but I’m doing it anyway.” is that what you want to convey?
