Dr Watson?

By Pym.GI_Antman ·
The computer I use is on a rotation basis. I use it for 4 months then it goes to someone else and so on.
It told me today I had less than 1GB of space left. So I went in and started deleting old user profiles.
Under the Documents and Settings folder there is a folder titled ?all users.? In there it has a folder for ?Microsoft? then ?Dr Watson.?

My computer has 77 GB of space and 50.7 GB is being used for this Dr Watson file.

1. How do I make it smaller?
or
2. If I just delete the drwtsn32.log file will it completely delete the Dr Watson program or just the over sized file?

I tried opening it but it says it is too big for notebook to open.

Download and run CCleaner ...

Run it with the default settings and allow CCleaner to get rid of this and all the other crud that has gathered in this computer over the months and years.

Deleting this LOG file on its own may not get rid of all the detritus - better to let CCleaner do the grunt work for you.

Once you have run the File Cleaner, run the Registry Tool also. This is a recursive cleaner so keep running it until you get no errors at all. (It's a bit like stripping wallpaper - there can be many layers below the one you presently can see!)
