Dropping out.....!!!!

By LotsoPoppa ·
My problem is that suddenly my server will not allow remote connection using PCANYWHERE LAN TCP/IP connections. At one time not so long ago I was able to connect from home and allow a Tech from FLA. connect for software Application service but, suddenly they try to connect and it seems like it is connecting and then they say it just drops out. I am stumped at what it might be. I have no problem dialing up as a backup but connection too slow when trying to FTP. One suggestion was to open TCP port 5631 and 5632 far as I know there open. how can I check and solve this problem? HELLPP!

what version of pcanywhere please. you are saying you can connect from home with pcanywhere just fine?
lots of things can cause this. check out your exact symptoms at
make sure the pcanywhere security level is set the same for both client and host
you can check for port open with telnet <ipaddress> <port number>
