DSL

Does anyone know whether or not I can use 2 DSL modems at a single location that has DSL service? I have a client that has DSL service to 2 buildings (on same phone #) where running network cable to connect the buildings would be rather difficult.Basically all they are wanting to do is for 3 computers in the other building to have access to the DSL service. Since the phone system is already in place, I was hoping that I could just install a 2nd. DSL modem/router in the other building and get the 3 users on the internet.

If the distance between the two buildings is not far you could try a Wireless Modem/Router (Linksys have good ones) to share the DSL connection at the phone line and the client PC's then only need a Wireless NIC to connect.

you can go and add a wireless bridge of the exiting router and assine the ips to the other pc in the other biulding that way they will get the dsl connection. Remember just because the router is not wireless doesnt mean you cant add a wireless device to it. you will need to add wireless cards to the other pcs. or you might want to look inot useing a bluetooth device they have a far signal than standred wireless devices.
here is a good exsample of bluetooth product and use.
