Could you assist me concerning DSL as follows?
I have got a USB modem Zyxel Prestige 630EE and ADSL service from my ISP. Modem was installed on a client PC with Windows XP using proper Manual and CD and, as a result, the speed was normal of 65 Kbps. After that modem is installed on our main server with Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4 applying the same settings according Manual, the result is 0.5 Kbps so the speed is lesser in some times as required. ISP explains that link is normal but data blocks are lost often, i.e. the same ones transmitted in many times that is why the result speed is small. Currently I am looking for a task solution of this problem but failed having no results, except for I started an Internet Connection Sharing service and ADSL Control, Transmit and Receive, shows more faster speed, anyway blocks fall and the result, page is downloaded in 5 min transmitting 4-5 Mb.
Such problem on a main server only but not on client PCs with Windows XP.
I will be very much appreciated to receive your answer to resolve this problem.
