Im trying to install 2k3 server on my existing XP box for educational purposes.
I have XP on a SATA drive thats divided up into 3 partitions. What ive tried to do is install 2k3 on an IDE HDD which works fine, but i get no dual boot options. The only way i have been able to access the other OS is to switch the boot order between IDE & SATA/SCSI in my BIOS. I have also tried editing the boot.ini to no avail & i add drivers for the SATA controller on each install.
