By mullinspetert ·
I have a dw.exe error and was wondering if someone can give me assistance to remove this error upon start-up. Says it caused an invalid page fault.

from microsoft web page, whenever you get an error drop the syntax into google and get fast answers........

DW.exe starts whenever an Office XP application stops unexpectedly, usually due to problems in the current configuration. It presents a dialog box prompting the user for several options, including restarting the application and sending an error report. It then shuts down the application; captures important settings and data files; makes a memory dump; and submits it all to Microsoft (or to a location on your network). Afterward, DW.exe restarts the application for the user.

From this we can assume two things, one are you running XP?? Two in a corporate environment? Can you get away with turning off doctor watson (the old name). Your IT department may not like this. If you can give me the whole error message or drop it into google you can find the offending program and reload/remove it.
