It is my first time to write a question or a discussion.
I’m a System Admin for a small company in Portugal (about 20 end-users).
A few months ago (in November) our server broke down and it had to be replaced. Since then, a problem remains to be solved.
A colleague needs, everyday, to be able to read/open e-mail messages from a german company wich come with security certificate (from trustcenter.de and, sometimes, PGP).
I’ve already e-mailed people in the german company and in trustcenter itself. However, I still can’t understand how these certificates exactly works.
A few weeks ago, someone at the german company sent me a PGP certificate and I could open and read it. He said he was going to tell his colleague to sent an equal certificate do my colleague, but it didn’t work.
This is a big problem in my company, since my colleague receives e-mails with certificate everyday and have to be able to read them.
I appreciate and thank anyone who can help me solve this problem.
