Enabling VSS on volume crashes server

by joegrosskopf . Updated 20 years, 11 months ago

My Windows 2003 server has the VSS enabled on the C drive. I enabled it on my D drive and immediately got the Blue Screen of Death with a stop error. The server rebooted but the D drive does not have VSS enabled and the server gets a stop error every morning around 7 AM. Any ideas? Can I re-install the VSS service? I can’t find any solution on this anywhere. Thanks
