I am interested in using Visio to create, document, share and maintain our corporate metadata captured in multiple ERDs. Traditionally organisations have used CASE tools to manage such complex repositories of information. I do not want to go down that track as I want to keep it simple, accessible and cost effective. As I am working at the strategic level, CASE is expensive overkill. What is eveyone else doing to define and manage corporate metadata? Is anyone successfully using Visio and the MS Repository for this purpose? If so, how?
