Entourage will work without SSL in the lan and with SSL from outside

I am deploying Exchange 2003 (with Front-end and Back-end servers) with ISA 2004 server in front of the FE server. I have setup the ISA rules to only allow https connections (for RPC over HTTPS) and setup the FE server to be a SecureNAT to the ISA server. Everything is working fine, OWA, Outlook (RPC/HTTPS). The problem I am having is with Entourage X, it works in the LAN without SSL and with SSL from the outside and I would like to set it up to use SSL in the LAN too. I have allowed on WebDAV in IIS FE server. I noticed in the IIS logs of the FE server that (while in the LAN) the Outlook clients come in through the ISA (internal IP address) server while Entourage comes in directly into the FE server, (I am using split DNS), not sure if this is a hint.

I have tried all the possible combinations in the settings of Entourage, without joy.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Fernando
