I want to know the no. of events generated by all different versions of
microsoft
e.g. 2000 standard edition generates around ... no. of events.
Similar ways i am looking for no. of events generated by
2003, 2003 R2, with their different of

What i could get is the no. of AD events generated by 2003 standard edition
is around 1438 msg.

I need similar information for above products.

If the event gets generated in any of the above products will it be
different in other products, for e.g. 800 event id got generated in windows
2000 will it be having different meaning in windows server 2003 or windows
server 2003 r2

I doubt anyone knows the answer to your question. The number of event messages generated by any Microsoft system depends on how the system is configured, what programs and services are running on the system and what problems or issues might crop up. For example, in the Security log, depending on how the system is configured, you could see 0 events per day, or thousands.

The actual event ID numbers are consistent from one system to the next, although as new versions of the OS have been published, event ID numbers have been added to accommodate the increasing complexity of the systems and services running on any one server. Event IDs can also have slightly different meanings, depending upon which service or process generates the message.
