I have a few servers I have to read logs for but I don’t like having to log into each one to check them. I know that I can switch to other systems within one event viewer window but sometimes I forget to check the logs completely. Is there a way (built into windows server) that I can have these logs e-mailed to me? If there isn’t a built in method, are there any free tools that do the job well? I read about Kiwisoft but haven’t got into the details about it. My boss is a bit wary of installing software onto each of the servers (maybe a little TOO wary) so if theres anything I can say to reassure him that there won’t be any problems that would be great. I’m still learning about all this so if I sound like a complete noob I apologize. I’m currently majoring in Networking and Communications Mgmt and am just getting into my core classes.
