Go to File – Save As – Save as Type – then look for Lotus there may be two or three different version of Lotus. select the one to the version of lotus you or someone will use to view the document.
You don’t mention which versions of Lotus & Excel, but generally open the file in the original program (Excel), choose FILE, SAVE AS, and change the file format setting to the desired file type (Lotus).
You should be able to “SAVE AS” a lotus file in EXCEL. simply open the ifle, go to FILE, SAVE AS and where the FILE TYPE is choose LOTUS, then close EXCEL and open LOTUS and try to open the file. THis will not change the origional excel file, it will create another one.
