I’m what you call script dumb. I can read/understand VB scripts, but for some reason, I can seem to put them together and work. sad
I have a small network – 25 production servers, 3 qat servers and 1 test box (including infrastructure servers). All are W2K3.
We are a small shop with zero dollars to spend and I have been updating each server manually with Windows Update for all patches released by MS.
What I want to do is have an excel sheet on my test box that will run a check to see which hotfix is installed from the provided list. Some servers are not updated due to conflicts with legacy applications.
Is this even possible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
