By Cudmasters Los ·
windows cannot find 'c:\users desktop...etc.

I have 25 users on the server, no matter where i try to access any excell file, whether it is located in her profile, or on a shared folder of another profile, terastation, I get that error. Doesn't do it with word, just excell. No other user has that problem.....stumped?

Any ideas

Figured It Out, kinda

If I open up excell from microsoft office(start\programs\office, then open up the file through the folder search, it works, but the excell icon on the desktop(where the file is located) doesn't work? Even when i get it open, if i resave over the original(on desktop), and try to reopen, it still doesn't work.
if i create a new spreadsheat, save, and try to open, won't open.

Where is Excel located here?

Sounds as if the system can not find a link tot he program to open the file.

If you insert a link on the desktop to Excel itself does it work then?
