what are the main differences between Exchange 2000 and 5.5?

mainly that exchange 2000 is so integrated with windows 2000 active directory.

also, you can split the info store database up into smaller chunks and put them in different places (servers/drives/etc.)

conferencing server 2000 is a separate product (in addition to exchange 2000) that is focused solely on audio/video conferencing/multicasting.

You can learn about all the differences from Microsoft, but keep in mind that marketing people probably wrote the documents.....
