Exchange 2003 database

by gfunk112 . Updated 16 years, 7 months ago

Hello gurus;

Over the weekend our exchange server recieved a lot of emails; on the the partition where the database is store got full and dismounted, for temporaly I attached a 1.T external HDD onto the server in order to move the database to a new location. in about 5hours it has only moved 3G of the 90G users are all offline. The default location for the database was on G drive. I checked the database and logs for any corruption but all seems to be fine.(all database in clean states) and also check the intergrety of the logs which all passed. Now I want to stop all the exchsrvr services move the database manually to 1.T (H drive) then change the drive letter for G:-J; then assign the new 1.T to G: restart all the services will this help?
