Can anyone tell me whether the Filter Pack IFilters discussed in KB 944516 need to be registered on all Exchange 2007 servers, or just mailbox servers?
We have an Exchange 2007 SP1 installation featuring 2 clustered mailbox servers, 2 load-balanced hub transport servers, and 2 load-balanced client access servers.
The KB isn’t explicit, but I’m guessing I have to do them all. The article doesn’t mention any recommended server order or reboot requirement, so I assume there is none. Any advice much appreciated.
