I have an exchange 2007 single copy cluster that has been up and running for almost a year now. We have 1 hub transport server, we do not use an edge server, and we have 2 servers clustered for the information store, node1 and node2
Today it has stopped sending and receiving external email. I have checked to make sure all the services are running on the hub transport and clustered servers. I have also done a restart on all the servers. I am able to connect to the smtp connector via telnet ( telnet mail.domain.org 25 , sent ehlo and got a response). The mail Que is backing up for external email, but all internal email is being delivered.
I have double checked our mx records and they are responding with the correct public IP address.
I am at a loss, please help!
