Exchange Server (5.5 and above) Duplicate Message Problem

Having applied the Microsoft Hotfix for this reported problem, the Exchange server is still reporting a number of inbound emails as a duplicate message (code 2027) and consequently is not assiging a message ID. The user cannot see these emails.

All these duplicate message emails come from the same content managed website from which new business enquiry emails are produced. We have not found the problem in other emails from other sources.

The content management website people who developed the website say this is not a client-wide problem for them and they doubt their system is at fault and everyone down the chain says the same!

How should we tackle this one?
