Most of the mails which we have received from outside appears POSTMASTER@194.0.0.105 (194.0.0.105 is the ip adress of the mail server ) in the from field of the mails.There by we were unable to identify the sender.This problem is increasing day by day and is affecting our day to day business.
following are the configuration which we are using in the mail server.
We have Exchange Server 2003 with POPAGIFT in our Mail server . (POPAGIFT is an thrid party software for fetching mails to an local exchange server and distributing to local mailboxes according to down load cycle ) . In our web server we have multiple mailboxes with storage space and without storage spaces. For the latter one, all the mails are redirect to ‘redirect’ mailbox ,from which popagift can fetch into our exchange server. Here comes the problem , most of the mails (not all) which are fetching from redirect mailboxes shows the POSTMASTER@194.0.0.105 in the sender field.
