I have recently upgraded to IE6 and have since been encountering problems.
When I try to access any web content from any source (i.e. Explorer, Outlook, Windows Update on the task bar) the first page always gives a DNS error :- “The page cannot be displayed – Cannot find server or DNS error”. Clicking on home or refresh then gives me access, but always, the first page gives me the error. I am running Windows 2000 Pro with all updates currently installed. Whilst this does not prevent me from gaining access to the Internet it is VERY annoying to say the least.
Please help. I am at my wits end.
