User has Win ME. If they attempt to use the operting system i.e start windows explorer, open recycle bin, click on control panel, IE, C drive etc. It reports that “Explorer has caused an error in vx2.dll. Explorer will now close”
User has reinstalled operating system to no effect. Same error occurs in safe mode. All third party applications work ok, just appears to be operating system related.
Has anyone encountered this and how do I repair it if I cannot access the system?
