Our company is having serious data leakage problem which our staff copy & sell our new design to competitors.
I got a Win2000 file server and thinking of some sort of hard disk data encryption. What I need is my file server and all others desktop or notebook hard disk is encrypted and the decrypt key is on the file server itself, if someone copy the data to USB flashdisk out of the company it will render useless, same action needed on notebook/desktop as well so if was stolen out, our data is safe. Also no other outsider notebook is able to ‘see’ what we have on our network without the decryption key if they used our Wifi internet access.
This only my idea, any better suggestion is welcome and appreciated.
