Files access over vpn on SBS 2003

I'm having trouble accessing files through a vpn on SBS 2003 pre. I think that the problem is with the ISA configuration i'v open all ports but I just can't access the files does anybody have suggestions

you mean shares don't you?

VPN into a domain just creates a tunnel and you use that to pass data back and forth. there is no GUI unless you use RWW. So, to access anything, you type in commands from the command line, AND you have permissions to access shared resourses OR your the domain admin which has access.

That's not necessarily true. You can create a VPN using the connection manager that you can download via RWW. Then you can (all thing working properly) access files as you would if you were on the network with the server (e.g. Run > \\ - Should bring up all shared files/printers/etc on that remote server if that were the Server's IP on it's local network).

That being said, I'm having a similar problem (Can connect, can't access files.
