firefox slows down???

our so-called "net administrator" of our network here in our dormitory has banned the use of the firefox browser because according to him the browser slows down the network. is there any truth in this???

no.
so, in front of big boss, ask the net administrator
why he is insisting on allowing anyone who wants to the ability to hack company data?

watch how fast he denies blocking it.

he says it has something to do with the amount of requests to the router generated by Firefox...
