Hi, I’m running a win2k3r2sp2 server and currently have that performing primary file services for corporate data. The share that has been created had specific folder permissions changed. Quite a few according to business requirements (painful process really) and now I have to re-add them. Is there anyway I can monitor these permissions changes that’s native to Windows and replay them to save manaul editing in the furture if they do change?
Or maybe there’s a third party utility, I’m doing some hunting myself, for a utility that will map the folder permisson settings for explicit permisions set on folders in a tree structure? This sort of utility would be (god forbid) good for documenting the permissions!
