cglrcng@excite.com,

On my Dell versus build it yourself question, I didn't intend to reject your very fine and well thought out answer. My apologies.

Please post an answer to this so I can give you a share of the points as well.

Thanks again for your great answer.

For cglrcng@excite.com - I goofed

TY! Am in the process right now of trying to find a power supply for a customers HP Pavilion XL848 PC that will actually fit w/out cutting up the case as a prime example on that particular question. HP wants $73.00 (like he's going to pay that highway robbery price to be under powered), for a 180 Watt power supply. While most ATX 350 (no name brands) are in the $23.00-$25.00 range @ Tiger Direct, and a name brand ATX type is around $37.00 & up.

Big difference as soon as that great warranty runs out!

Good Luck.

Good luck finding that power supply. If you read my replies in that previous question, you'll know that we've decided that I will continue to build our own computers. (Or., if time is an issus, specify what we want a local shop to build for us.) TheDells of the world will have to rely on others. Thanks for your time. (Sorry about that previous reject. It was an oversight.)

Regards,

Maxwell
