full accelerated graphics problem...

my computer constantly freezes during windows logon and any other unexpected time after that... but it can run smoothly with no or basic accelerated functions in the display hardware acceleration.. any thoughts?

PERHAPS YOU RUNNING TO MANY APPLICATIONS, OR YOUR SYSTEM IS IN NEED OF MEMORY UPGRADE.
GO TO MSCONFIG,GO TO START UP AND UNCHECK ANY PROGRAM YOU NOT USING WHEN YOU LOG ON.

i have 256MB of ram, i can run over 10 programs at once with no problems... the system hangs are unexpected, doesnt matter how much memory is being used...

Yet forever, thank Microsoft. There's a documented bug that windows only works part of the time with full 3D acceleration. Check the knowledge base, and they tell you that if you have problems with periodic lockups, turn off acceleration. There'sno ready fix available that I'm certain of, but you may want to check in on microsoft.com and find out for sure.
