      hello

its almost impossible to get to work, but u can try to run in compatibility mode, go to the shortcut, clik properties – compatibility and select win 95 or win 98, but i doubt this will work.
winxp or 2000 are nt based, older dos based appsjust dont work. if u REALLY want to have that game in your XP/2000 boxes u can install win 98 AND xp in dual boot.

It’s tough to make DOS programs work in w2k, but it can be done. I’m not sure what kind of memory requirements it needs, but you’ll have to find that out from the documentation. First, go to the c:\winnt\system32 directory. There, open the autoexec.nt and config.nt files. These are what control DOS sessions. Make any changes there to conform with your documemtation.

Next, create a desktop shortcut for a DOS window. Change the properties to launh your game instead of DOS. Go to the memory taband make any changes you need to for memory. Again, refer to your doc.

You may need to tweek the settings some, but that should work.
      Good Luck.

It may not work in XP. Microsoft is moving away from DOS, for good or bad, and each version seems to provide less support. I’m keeping an old laptop with DOS just to have it available.
