Getting info of window on Citrix server

By Ananya ·
From client machine, I launch some application (say notepad) on server. Notepad is running in server but I can see and use it from client machine. Can I create some software which runs on client but can find the details of a window of notepad running on server?

The Citrix ICA client allows for _some_ sharing of information between local and ICA apps. E.g. printers, and file space. However the ICA options are in the lead.
So in order to accomplish your goal, you'd need to write two parts, inversing the roles:
a) The master code on your local client
b) The agent code on the server, so inside the ICA client.
The master would order the agent to inquire about the other server apps in its server memory space. The agent then would call the master, and pass the information.

I was thinking if it is possible to get the solution without putting anything on server. But, it seems that I need to put agent on server. How should the communication be between the two? DCOM? Or, does Citrix itself provide some method for this?
Could you suggest me some good book that can help me in this respect? Thanks.
