I am unable to get the Group Policy to propagate to client computers. In the event viewer on the client computer I am getting errors 15 and 1053.
“Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007054b). The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Enrollment will not be performed.”
AND
“Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy processing aborted.”
The computers concerned are running Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows XP SP2. The computers are definitely communicating because roaming profiles (other than folder redirection) work. Any suggestions on what to try?
