I was running some music creation program (Acid, Storm, and a Wav editor) when my hard drive crashed in xp.
The hard drive was my secondary back-up drive and is a Fat32. No O/s is on this hard drive but there is a lot of important data on it, about 800mb.
Cmos see the hard drive correcly. Windows xp has a drive letter in windows explorer, but when clicked nothing happens. Some other programs don’t see the drive at all.
The hard drive is a ‘jts corporation champion model c2100-2af’. Andas far as I know JTS Corp filed for bankruptcy in 1999.
I’m looking for a low cost solution. And I’m in the progress of reading the faq ‘200 ways to revive a hard drive’ on this site. I’m not sure what method to try.
Thank you
