I recently installed the hard drive from my old system into a brand new system. Now, before the install the hard drive was working perfectly. (I was using it up until the time I took the old system down and removed it.) However in the new system the hard drive will not boot and when I try to find it in My Computer it does not show up. Interestingly enough the hard drive registers in BIOS when it loads and in Device Manager I just cannot navigate to it to restore some very important files. (AKA I cannot format the drive because I need the information off of it!)
Anyone have any ideas? It is a Samsung Hard Drive.
