Hi All
I’m having problems backing up the system state on my 2003 SP2 windows server that is also a DC.
the problem occur because the NTDS Writer that is used by the VSS is missing.
after restart the computer this writer is listed in the output of the command ” VSSADMIN list writers”
but after few days the NTDS Writer is gone again untill the next reboot.
i installed all the patches from microsoft
i also re-registered all the VSS dll’s.
nothing seem to help
