Haw to boo from fdd 1st?

I have compaq lte elite 4/75 cxl tha can’t be boot from fdd. my hdd have been fail to run and I need to setup its againt. the problem is.. I can boot from fdd. haw to change its?help me.tq!

  Are you able to enter the Bios settings when the machine first boots up. If so check that the floppy drive is set as the first boot device..If not then set it as the first boot device and you should then be able to re-start the machine with the floppy disk in the drive….

  If you have a bootable floppy put it in the computer then reboot
  
  When the systems starts up hit the F10 key (or it maybe the “del” key) to get into setup
  
  After you are in the bios setup.. look for boot sequence … follow the prompts on how tochange what your 1st,2nd…and so on boot devices are
  
  Then save and exit..
  
  the system will reboot, and if the floppy is bootable it will load some diagnostics from there.
