This is either a sick joke to waste our time here or, if you really think you have an "AMD INTEL CELERON P3 633MHZ" system take it to a service center and have them take a look at it. Even a PC Tech may not be able to resolve all the problems you have. Do yourself and everyone here a favor, don't try to fix things yourself. You will only end up with more problems by attempting to fix things yourself. You may need professional help!
The first thing to do is to make sure the ribbon cables inside are securly in place. It's possible that one of them came loose. Are you sure that your friend didn't tamper with anything inside the case? If he did, it is possible that the ribbon cables are installed improperly. But if he only tampered with the BIOS, then double check those cables, make sure they're securly in place, and then try to detect the drive again. In the BIOS, theres an IDD auto detect option. I might also suggest that you first load the BIOS system defaults. There's an option in the BIOS for that as well.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
