So my company has an old server running exchange 2003… we got a brand new server and I have installed a fresh copy of exchange 2003 on it… now what? LOL Forgive my ignorance but I’m primarily an AD guy and have very little experience with exchange. I need to setup the new server as the primary exchange server with all the settings of the old one so I can remove the old one… I did notice that in Exchange System Manager both servers are now listed… if I did a replication between the two would it replicate everything including settings? Which settings do I need to check/look for? Also after the configuration is it just a matter of using Exmerge to move the mailboxes and public folders over to the new box? And when I move the mailboxes and public folders over will all their old email move with it? I’ve never configured exchange before and now am acting exchange admin, so I’m just looking for some help.
