HELP ! - Microsoft's 2007 Virtual Computer

By gray_feathers ·
I've got a new computer, Widows-VISTA, and a virtual computer download.

Question: How do you get the "Microsoft's 2007 Virtual Computer" to allow you to adjust your graphics card configuration(resolution, etc.), add a joystick and printer, transfer software from the host to the virtual computer, and finally how can you get on the internet from the Virtual computer or guest computer ?

I got a new computer for the VISTA and virtual computer possibilities so I could play some "OLD" flight games. I've been able to get 2 games downloaded but I can't get the "Virtual Computer" to recognize that I've got a joystick, can't change my graphics card settings, etc.

Help would be MOST APPRECIATED ! - is there any books or software that address these issues in non technical terms - I'm not a geek and don't know that much about computers ! :-)

Thank you for the help,

Extras

You need to install the extra utilities from
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Virtual PC\Virtual Machine Additions
which installs some extra stuff which can allow you to change resolution and enable shared folders.
I have not tried joysticks, so I'm not sure you can use them.
