I play a on-line multiplayer game that calculates ping times. It usually displays them in the upper corner. My question is, what does the ping number mean? I have a hard time finding a server I can stay in because it says my ping times are to high for that particular server. I am usually between 500 and 700. Is this a bad thing? I see most servers are in the 100 to 300 range. Any help with this situation will be appreciated. Thanks.
