Help with spyware

By byteside ·
I am looking for the BEST spyware removel program available. I am working on someones computer that is loaded with spyware. I have used
Ad-aware and Kolla's Spybot search and destroy. Neither of these programs are removing all the spyware installed on there computer like mywebsearch and funweb products. I am charging by the hour and don't want to spend hours trying to edit the registry. Any help would be great.

What is SpyWare & Adware you ask?

"SpyWare" is a common term for files that are installed on your system without your knowledge that allow the user to monitor your PCs activities secretly. Silently your PCs Data and your habits are being documented for review and potential use against you. .

Well an up to date ADWARE will catch ALMOST everything. However, even if you delete the plugin or cookie, there may still be code in the startup files that needs to be removed to stop it restarting on bootup.

I always check msconfig after using adaware and making sure nothing is scheduled to run on boot.

Also, once you have identified malware or a browser hijack, look on the web for complete removal information and ensure it is properly cleaned before rebooting.

There are smoe very informative hijack websites that describe the various IE hijacks and how to resolve them.

A tool I am really liking as of late is HijackThis, which exammines IE (and Netscape too) for installed spyware, and let's you delete those things that the anti-spyware programs just sometimes don't get.
You can get HijackThis here:

And a tutorial on it is here:
(please remove any spaces)

hope this helps
