Download, install and update either spybot serarch and destroy or Adaaware by lavasoft. The are free programs that help remove spyware. If those dont work you can always downlad Highjack this very powerful program but destroy your registry if used wrong.

I would then update your virus scanner and run that also.

Once they are complete try changing your home page. It should change to what you want it to be.

You didn't mention your OS, very crucial info. for Windows ME and XP you will need to turn off "System Restore". (My computer\Properties)
If updated SpyBot Search and Destroy and updated AdAware didn't work, look in your hosts file if you have one. It should look like this:
# For example:
# # source server
# # x client host localhost

Another option is to download Hijack this for removal. It is not an easy program to use though so read instructions closely. It can be downloaded at:

Do an Internet search for CWShredder.exe. This program will check for clearsearch, and remove programs that hijack your home page. Very easy to use.

Turn off system restore if it is used in your os.

Download, update, and run the following.

Your Antivirus Software

Look for the file in English CWShredder.exe

Hijack This:

Hijack This is useful in that it shows what is currently loading on startup. You must know what is good and what is bad. Once you check it and fix it is gone. So be sure.

Run Your Antivirus again

I have had to boot into safe mode and run these.

Good Luck Lee
