i used windows98 when system boot in normal mode windows show registry error and my computer become restart and when i start my computer in safe mode then error occured "XMS (extend memory specification) has unreliable address" what is tha reason of this error please solve this problem

bad memory, change the memory if possible.
if you have multiple memory slots installed, try go one by one, till you find the guilty one.

The error is bad memory as the previous poster states, but it is usually faulty cache memory and not system ram. This usually occurs because of a faulty motherboard or overclocked CPU.
