Home networking problem

By cleroux_13 ·
I have 2 computers networked to ADSL. When I have the second computer hooked up to ADSL, for some reason during the day the first computer will boot up. If I disconnect the second computer this does not happen. How can I solve this problem, it's driving me crazy.

Check your wake on lan/wake on ring settings in the BIOS and disable it. Make sure you don't have any programs installed that will start the PC (fax software, etc).

Good luck...hope this helps!

Hi! You can use a HUB, it is very cheep!! this will end your problem, juste connect your modemADSL to the HUB and connect your 2 computer to the HUB. The HUB will do the Internet sharing!!
