We?re a recent convert to Exchange, but we?ve got a small hitch. How do we manage listserv-style distribution lists in AD/Exchange?
We have about 50 DLs, each one with 10-100 external addresses, many of the addresses duplicated on other lists. These are separate from the 100 or so DLs with mostly internal users and mostly static membership.
What we?re trying to do is mass update the lists. So Dept. A sends us the list, and we mass import it. We could hire a student worker just to manually update the lists, but that could be a mess.
We?ve tried using the csvde tool to mass import them, but AD/Exchange can?t handle duplicate email addresses. Anyone else have a solution for this? We?ve googled for a couple days now without a solid product that costs less than $25k. Any help is appreciated.
