How do you configure the computer list in remote web workplace?

by zfreeman . Updated 15 years ago

I am working with two clients. One has SBS 2003, and the other has SBS 2008. I have remote web workplace up and running for both, but I want to customize the list of computers the user can log on to. Have removed the computers that don’t exist anymore, but I want the user to only see their PC and no one else’s in the list. I heard that you can use usermap.txt to map a user to a computer, but I’m not getting anywhere. I have place the usermap.txt file in C:\InetPub\ConnectComputer, c:\Windows\InetPub\ConnectComputer, and C:\Windows\InetPub\ClientSetup (I had to create the last two folders). I used the following format in the usermap.txt file:

mapping user=”user1″ computer =”computer1″

I want user1 to only see computer1 as the computer they can join. Is this even possible, and if so, any ideas on how to do it?
