Experts say that by 2005 enterprises must upgrade to IPv6, and in regards to DHCP, ISPs should already be hosting dual protocol stacks (IPv4/6).
Have your ISP upgraded to manage the increasing mobile “always on” users?
IPv4 protocol stack willnot necessarily see a smooth transition to its “mobile” wireless internetworking version. The market will generally resist the need to upgrade to IPv6 before the end of 2004. Nevertheless, ISPs with a strong intention to be part of the wireless future have considered this needed IPv6 upgrade.
Is your ISP expecting to support heavy mobile users? Would you expect your monthly Internet access fee to increase or decrease in the months to come?
