How to add adapter dial up?

By Virgoan ·
Hi, anyone can assist me on how to add an adapter dial up in my network applet. Which file is using for that windows 98 adapter?

My network connection is ok but i am trying to find the easiest way to add an adapter rather to remove the existing setting and reinstall again or restart and redetect my system again...

thanks & regards,
Fion

Hi,

You Can add Dialup adaptor, by using the Control Panel > NetWork > Add and select the different adaptor and restart. This Will add a dial up adaptor into your machine.

The complet is:
Network Neighborhood-properties in Configuration tab chose add, then select Adapter. From list chose Microsoft-Dial-up Adapter. Confirm and if is necessary type the path to Win98 kit.
Also in Configuration tab you must have the second protocol TCP/IP for Dial-up (if this is not added automaticaly add this the same as in previous wizard but at this time chose Protocols).
I assume that you know that these settings will work only if you have a modem (installed and correct configured).
